(no subject)
happy July 4th everyone!
how did all of you celebrate today? my dad and i went out and got me some new sneakers since my old ones were trashed, and then we went to a barbecue/pool party at my mom's friend's house...my friend Jessie who is currently living in Las Vegas was visiting with her family (since my mom and her parents went to high school together), so it was great to see her, since I hadn't seen her for exactly a year!
so my art workshop will be over this friday...whew! it feels like it just started yesterday. then again, 2 weeks do fly by pretty fast. after my final workshop session on friday, i'm going to BLue to get my eyebrows done so I won't have to worry about them while I'm in Israel and then going to synagogue to be called to the Torah since I'm going to Israel. saturday, my parents (and possibly my brother) and I are going up to visit the University of Delaware (which is where I reeeeeeeeeeallllly want to go to college; apologies to Sam...I still want to go to Kutztown, but if I don't get into UDel, that's where I'll be going). sunday, not sure what my plans are but I want to have some kind of bon voyage party (possibly with sushi, which my parents promised they'd get me for my goodbye dinner), and then on monday I leave for Israel! not quite sure that i'll have internet access while I'm there, but if I do, I'll try to get on and give you an update.
