Funny how life works sometimes...
I decided to come back home last night and study here as my cat was very unhappy at my mother's house. Happy cat = happy Emma apparently. I came home with the gay man and we discovered that the owner wants to come and show her sister through the property on Saturday. He ended up a giant stress ball because he was leaving on Friday for his mum's 50th birthday, and there was also the matter of sorting out how much rent was to be payed by M and D for the split week (M moved out, D replaces him on Sunday). I got him packing and said I'd sort stuff out. My mother was still here and being an awesome mum decided to help clean the absolute crap out of the place (even though I haven't been here in two weeks) so I could go and study, which is all I really should be doing over the next week and a bit. So anyway, there was a little bit of slackness in some areas and later D came over so I could sort rent on that side of things which turned out to be all good. Then today we sent his mighty gayness away, came home, sorted money out for M (was a good catch up with he and C), and my other flatmate was out.. pretty much all day. I stressed out thinking the rest of the cleaning wasn't going to get done so I sent a text asking why stuff was left up to me and got no response. Away went the leaves in the front yard, garage cleaned, spare room cleaned and by the end of all that I was so tired and upset I went to bed for a nap. I woke up just before, switched my phone on again, and there was my reply. Which was sent at 5ish pm tonight. So I wasted all those hours cleaning someone elses share in place of decent study time for *no reason at all*.
Why do I always end up getting screwed by stupid circumstances? Oh well, at least the back yard still needs done, and it means I don't have to get up at 8 and waste more time.
