I really don't get why so many fans are complaining about Deathly Hallows. Calling it a rip-off from fan-fics??
WTF is up with that??? It really pisses me off. Just because things didn't go as they wanted in the book they start thrashing the author. That is just wrong.
If they are fans, they should know that she had the storyline and all that finnished in her notes and in her head since the start. There is no way that she took stuff from fanfics. Those fanfics that do look similar to the books, are just written by fans who read the clues right and guessed right on what was about to happen.
I think the book was great, it was just her style and it suited the Harry Potter universe.
Some say that she put the girls on the side and made all the men heroes, and that is just bull. What about Hermione? Luna? Ginny? And all the teachers and not to mention Molly?? Those were all women and heroes.
Sure, the epiloge was sort of cheesy, but it all fit anyway.
Stop complaining, just deal with the fact that you don't have control over everything. It is her books, so what happens in them is what is supposed to happen since SHE made the whole world of Harry Potter up. Fanfics have nothing to do with HER story, they do not influense her since her story was allready finnished.
