Apparently the SciFi channel has decided it's name is far too geeky, so it has decided to rebrand itself: the Syfy channel. Insert massive eyeroll here. As if the horrid SciFi exclusive made for tv movies weren't bad enough, now the geek cred should be stripped for mainstreaming the geek channel? Apparently this is at least partly because NBC/General Electric can't *own* Sci-fi, but SyFy can be all theirs. Oh joy.
