Minutiae
1) New Sonic Youth is waaaay better than anything they've done in years. Less noodling and more straightforward. Also, the new Futureheads surpasses their debut. New Streets, kinda meh. Pains me to say, but it's true. I know I have more records but that's it.
2) Bar review. I hate it. July 25th and July 26th. Then I'm done.
3) Sitting outside NYU (where I do bar review) today and two guys passed each other. The black guy had a vintage boombox and was blasting "Trans Europe Express." The white guy looked like some NPR douche and was playing a ukelele. Winner: black guy by a large margin.
