I made it home to watch it...tie is b-s! Aren't they supposed to go to
a shoot-out or something?

Haha...I knew you'd say that. Why is it b-s?? Cuz there was a Canadian
involved?? Because Susur is Asian???? Because Bobby Flay is to cooking as
Barry Bonds is to baseball as Terrell Owens is to football as Kobe Bryant is
to basketball????
We weren't there to taste the food...so we can only go on Originality and
Presentation..and trust what the judges say about taste.
If I remember correctly, I think Susur did win on originality and
presentation....but got killed on taste. Being the fact that bacon was the
secret ingredient...it makes sense that Flay's dishes would taste better.
Bacon is more suited for Southwest Cuisine rather than Asian (Fusion or
otherwise). C'mon...Asian cuisine featuring Irish bacon?!??!?! No...I don't
think so.
Have said all that...I don't truly rule out some kind of fix on the show on
the whole. I can't imagine them having the Iron Chefs lose more than they
win. But to their credit...their records are more realistic than the
Japanese version...where the Iron Chefs were 294783209847239472392 wins - 1
loss.
Susur would've won if he heard what I was shouting at him through the TV....
"GET SOME SALMON AND WRAP IT IN PROSCUIT...AHH FORGET IT!!!"
