Money well spent
Today was the year's first on-field practice.
Any doubts about buying my own bat rather than just sharing one with the team was gone when I first held the bat in my hands.
Any doubts about getting a 30 oz bat rather than a 28 oz was gone after 4 home runs over the fence during batting practice.
Any doubts about spending $300 for a bat was gone after the first HR went over the NETTING that's approx. 30 ft above the fence.
Any thoughts of checking my ego and playing my role as someone who gets on base rather than one who hits HRs was gone after the SECOND HR went over the NETTING that's approx. 30 ft above the fence.
It's gonna be a good season.
