The Technologically-Challenged
Sorry for the lack of updates. I'm going to try to write more on here.
Anyways, I've been having problems with my computer lately. x( It was infected by a spyware (Antivirus Pro) and I couldn't do anything. It almost removed all of my files (which includes my music, my drawings and all of my writing... not cool) but I managed to save most of them. Either way, one of my hard drives is still "missing".
I removed the virus (at least, I'm sure I did) but, yeah, some of my files are still messed up...
Anyways, besides that, I've decided to go through a list of things I did this summer...
- Finally finished my story (Bad Luck) at 330 pages. Whoo! I'm about to post the spin-off in a few days.
- Working on the script for a Pokemon doujinshi. :O Finished the script for almost 4 chapters and currently working on the rough draft drawings for the first chapter.
- Watched and finished Cowboy Bebop, Ouran High School Host Club (Mori-Sempai FTW) and currently watching (and almost finished) with Neon Genesis Evangelion and Elfen Lied. Does anyone else find Elfen Lied overdramatic, btw? I mean, I like the underlying themes and psychology to it... but some parts are so pretentious that it becomes unintentionally hilarious. Oh well, maybe I'm just a bad person.
- Working on a Lulu (FFX) cosplay.
- Dyed my hair and got rid of the hideous blonde. It's a reddish-brown color.
- Got a new tablet since my old one broke. :/
- Drawing a lot more fanart than I'm comfortable with. -_-
- Talking non-stop about conventions. Might go to Bishie-con in St. Louis this November and Geek-Con in Madison, WI in October. Definitely going to ACEN in Chicago and Anime Milwaukee. But currently its my dream to go to Comic-Con in San Diego. *_*
- Went to Mitsuwa again, the gigantic Asian Grocery store outside of Chicago. They have a food court, cosmetics and kitchenware stores now. @_@ Plus they expanded their bookshop.
- Learning Japanese. I'm starting by learning how to write Hiragana. I've got about 4 more sets of letters to learn. x) I can't wait to learn it all. YAY.
- Haven't kept up to date with Naruto or Bleach. >_> Too busy watching other animes.
- Decided that Hinako Takanaga is my favorite yaoi author EVAH.
There's probably a few more things but I can't think of anything significant. I hope everyone has had a fantastic summer so far. x)
