After months of not reading any manga, I finally decided to give it a whirl again.
I finally decided that... when I'm waiting for a manga update... I'm always disappointed with the result.
However, when I deprive myself of it for weeks and read all of the updates and once, I actually get into it.
So maybe I should start reading every two weeks.
Well, anyways, I got up to date with Naruto and Bleach. I've always found Bleach to be the better manga of the two but, lately, its been really sucky. I'm so sick of the recent arc. The only interesting part I found in the new updates is when Orihime was almost tortured by that insane girl (why do I find that interesting? Probably for the IchiOri moments, I'm guessing).
For Naruto, however, I actually think I like it again. I wrote down a few things that I liked.
So I wrote down a few key moments:
- Chapter 420: Iruka decides to be a hero and Kakashi has to swoop down and save him. At this point, I could practically hear the KakaIru fans screaming in my ears.
- Sasuke bites Karin's arm like he's a freaking Edward Cullen the pussy-vampire vampire and Karin has an orgasm like preggorz Bella Swan.
- Sage Naruto actually... kind of looks cool.
- I still prefer Masashi Kishimoto's old drawings. The new chapters feature characters with too much guyliner.
- The Eight Tails jinchuuriki was very unoriginal. In fact, all of the rapping reminded me of Ball from 666 Satan by Seishi Kishimoto (Masashi's twin). Look, I know the two are brothers and won't press charges, but that still doesn't excuse plagiarism. They keep ripping off each others' ideas!
- Naruto Chapter 429, pg 8:
[Pain clone makes like a hamster and runs away]
Kiba's mom: He was so scared of me, he ran away! >:)
Kiba: (thinking) Yeah, Mom... just like with Dad. =_=
That was a Mastercard/priceless moment.
- Sage Naruto's cloak reminds me of Yondaime... which I'm pretty sure was the intention.
- I... I just like Sage Naruto. A lot.
- Is Kakashi actually dead or is it one of those, "HE'S NOT REALLY DEAD, HE'LL BE BACK TO LIFE IN A FEW CHAPTERS". I actually did like the... afterlife scene, where Kakashi apologizes to Rin and Obito as he's dying and then meets his father by the campfire in the afterlife. Also, if Kakashi is confirmed dead or alive... did I miss it?
Now, I already read this part before I took my long break from Naruto, but... seriously.
Why did Jiraiya have to die? ;_; And where does this put Tsunade, considering she's the only sannin left?
I actually interested in what's going to happen next guyssss...
