Car Trouble... Or not?

Well, kept pulling apart the 'Bird. A/C Condenser is off. The front pulley is almost off, but one bolt just doesn't wanna let go. The altenator will fall as soon as that last bolt is freed, and the carb is almost ready to go. I just don't have a large enough open ended wrench to get the fuel lines off. I have a return fuel line, how cool is that? This car definately was high performance orientated. Anyways, I'm having second thoughts about rebuilding the top end of this engine. It just seems like it was beaten on all it's life and is just waiting to go. I found some bolts missing today, that should have been there. Wiring is all over the place and spliced and respliced all the time. Not good. The vaccum lines are a plumbing nightmare that even my father will be afraid to tackle. I'm really leaning towards dropping in a new engine. But which one? Save up for a crate 350? Buy a rebuilt or just any old 350 out there? Buy a 305? Decisions Decisions. :-) Oh well, life can be good at sometimes. I like this decision, and I love working on my car. Being able to pop the hood and see what I have accomplished makes me feel real good. I still remember when I fixed the radiator in the F-150. When I started driving it, it was the best feeling I've ever had. Nothing has ever matched it. Love may one day, but that may never happen with the way I'm going.
