Hmm... definitely lightened the chapel without affecting the sky. Personally, I prefer the color image; in this instance, that's what brings the impact, the spectacular sky.

Having seen both versions, my sick and twisted sense of humor whispers to me, "That's the mother of all fill-flash on the chapel!"

I like the b/w version of this one; it works better than the colour one IMO, picks out the detail more without the colour to distract you from it.
