i just got back from my uncle's house. i arrived at 8, and began cutting back his many bushes, and cleaning them up, and professionally raking the rocks onto which the cuttings fell. he has at least 10 moderately sized (fucking spiky ass)bougonvilla plants, all of which i cut back more than half. number of hours: 5. percent shade: 0%. peak temperature: 107 degress. number of garbage bags filled: 12. number of thorns which went completely through the sole of my shoe and into my foot: 2. thats one for each foot.

my hands are shaking out of control. i'm going to go take a shower. and then find some jack daniels.
