Today I sat in a chair for an hour and a half while my dentist labored to remove the decay that had accumulated since my last dental visit, 8+ years ago. I had to have seven cavities filled. Seven! When I went in for my cleaning I was told that I had 6, but today the dentist saw a small one he thought needed some attention after all. Half of my mouth and the entire right side of my face up to my lower eye is numb. The right half of my nose is numb too. It's the strangest sensation I've ever felt.
As strange as it is to feel numb on part of my face, even stranger is the disconnect between how I physically feel and how I look in the mirror. I feel like sewing with Nancy, but I only look vaguely amused.
This peanut butter milkshake I bought from Cook Out sure makes me feel a whole lot better.
