I suddenly realized that I'm so behind on everything LJ. I have an inbox full of unanswered items in my regular journal, a good chunk of unreplied to comments on my fic journal (those bother me the most; people take their time to comment and the least I can do is reply back!), and I still haven't done a damn thing. I have uploaded a bunch of screenshots of Skyrim to make a Skyrim post later. After playing so much of this game I do believe I owe everyone some pretties, or what I think are pretties, of what I've been doing the past three weeks. Plus, I really like screenshots and squeeing over a game once in a while. :)
Other than that, last day of my boss being around for the year. She goes in for surgery tomorrow and won't be back until January. I think she's stressed out about it because it keeps rubbing off on me and continually diverts questions so that we need to answer them ourselves. I understand that tactic, making us think a bit more about what we will do in her absence, but while she's here I don't see why I can't keep asking her questions. Argh.
I've been having a few sleep issues (again), and I seem to be getting sleep around midnight instead of the normal 2200 that I used to have. It hasn't become a problem, yet, but I'm keeping an eye out. At least this means I can watch a bit more TV before I pass out in some graceful fashion. I watched the horrible new episode of Rizzoli & Isles, an episode where you could practically see the subtext but was, as we say in femslash land, cock-blocked by, of all people, one of the lead character's brother. *headdesk* This is ridiculous.
I also got around to the X-Files again, Season 1. I'm halfway through it, working my way episode by episode, and I have thinky thoughts on the last episode I watched. Very thinky thoughts. I think.
I also had a rather brilliant and spectacular idea for the latest TTU challenge but I'm not entirely sure it would fit into their guidelines. Must ask my beta what they think. Actually, should probably ask beta if they'd beta this piece for me. Probably a better first step, come to think of it. Still, the idea itself is right up her alley and I think it will be pretty awesome to write, whether or not it comes out anywhere near what I'm thinking of is still up for grabs.
Now, after taking a good chunk of my afternoon to write in-between bouts of actual work, I'm going to finish my lunch (salad) and contemplate my Skyrim post...or think about the game. I now own three homes in the game and I'm trying to figure out how to decorate and organize each one. It's like the first time you tried out the money cheat for the Sims and created a grand house for your favorite sims. It's that annoyingly addictive and time consuming that, suddenly, your evening is lost and it's 2200. Oops.
