I'm One Hour Behind it All

Hey, posting on the weekend! How...old school of me. Kinda. Not really though.

My body is finally realizing that it's really 2330 and although I will bitch forever about cross-Atlantic flights going west, I will forever forget how weird it is changing by one hour. It is somehow 2330 and yet it's not. I was really hoping to stay up until 0200 this morning to see the clocks change, giving me one moment of giddy happiness that time it completely and absolutely relative (it is just the fourth dimension after all, and before someone says timey wimey on me, I already embraced the concept), but I could only last until 0120. So close. I'm pretty sure the last time I watched the clocks go back was when I watched Torchwood: Children of Earth. Yeah...didn't do it this time.

I also finished Batman: Arkham Asylum today and am pretty damn proud of myself. Hard and 80% complete at the moment. 'Nuff said.

Third, how could I forget my favorite movie quote of all time was, "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!" from Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (because that's an awesome movie)? Good question....

Speaking of movies, I've got two greats coming through Netflix tomorrow. One is Apocalypse Now because, yes, I have yet to see it, and Secret Smile as, although creepy sounding, I am obviously missing out on some Tennant performance. Obviously. May have to rewrite my brain with some Hamlet after though. Next might be one of those Doctor Who animated movies. Dreamland or Infinite Quest is really the question.

Y'know, I really need to be in bed and this post was a short ramble of nothing of immediate value. Only a few scattered thoughts. And obviously I cannot do NaNo this year as work is getting more and more stressful, I'm playing too many video games, and...work. Bloody work...

Right, it's time for bed. And no booting up Arkham City tonight...it's a worknight after all.

P.S. - Apparently I missed the greatest football game of all time yesterday when LSU played against Alabama. I never watch college football but this time I really felt like I missed out. At least I watched an awesome game today with my mom when the Giants won against the Patriots. I was one happy woman. :)
