I'm Alive...Promise!
Well, it sure has been a while since I've sat in this old computer chair, working on my computer desk, and typing out an entry that will, hopefully, making at least 50% of the sense I would like it to. At least to me it's seemed like a long time. My brain is still a bit hazy from the fever and only today have I truly been able to read with a minimum level of comprehension. Instead, for the past three days I have relied heavily on my Netflix account to give me a small measure of sanity to my life. Oh, and lots of Advil. Lots and lots of Advil.
I can't stay on for long -- even in this wonderful, comfy chair of mine my body is still a bit tense from having to lie down so often throughout the day -- but I wanted to give a small update and say hello, I'm around, I'm among the mostly living. And thank you to all the well-wishes I've received from those on and off my flist: you guys are awesome. As for those who *cough* momentarily forgot about me, you're still awesome. Just, some animals are more equal than others.
No, wait, that's Animal Farm. Sorry. :) Love you all anyways. *hugs*
I'll get to my long unread inbox...eventually, preferably when my brain isn't all fuzzy like. And I hope my muse comes back with the brain-awareness factor. That would be very nice.
Alright, now back to my freshly washed sheets (I did lots of laundry today as a test of my endurance; I'm thinking work tomorrow) and more tv. I'll let you in on all of the good bits of TV I've watched over that long stretch and, yes, there had been some awesome TV watching in-between long bouts of sleeping.
However... how come NO ONE TOLD ME FIVE DIED IN "THE CAVES OF ANDROZANI?!" I still can't deal. I've only seen Five twice now, twice, and I love him to bits. TO BITS! AND HE DIED! *sniff* You can't do this to a sick person, you just can't! It's inhumane!
...Once I've dealt with this horrible set of events I will explain it all but what a great Classic Who story! I was blown away by how incredible it was and...more on that later, promise.
