Keep Calm and Carry On (Right?)

*deep breath*

Sorry about earlier everyone. 'Twas nearing the end of the day for me, the library was being way too quiet, and I just had to just pseudo-/mini-/full-on rant for a bit. At least everyone lowered my angst levels a bit. Plus, doing a newsletter helps me to focus on the positive side of the Doctor Who fandom. Even if some of us can be rotten gits sometimes, it's nice to know that the majority of us don't touch "it" with a ten-foot pole. Rather why I can be friends with shippers of all varieties and they, more importantly, put up with me. I've been told I'm a horrible person to live with. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. *shrug*

In other news, the Internet is doing that weird evening sluggish thing it does every day and I'm so sick and tired of it. Down with Comcast! Down with Comcast! Blah!

Also, Mozy, a previously awesome cloud-based back-up service is now shutting down it's unlimited back-up feature, which I had been using at a cheap $5 per month, and now I have to decide what to do about backing up my data. Do I buy another hard drive (or two) and put them into a RAID formation or stay with Mozy for $10 per month with only 120 gigs. Right now I have Mozy backing up 320 gigs of stuff, whether it's my music, documents, encrypted files, or videos, it's all there. I'm leaning towards buying a hard drive myself, for my 1 TB Seagate drive, as it'll probably be cheaper in the end. Money matters when you're a poor library staff member who is still working on paying off her debts to the evil student loan corporations. *shakes angry fist*

It's Wednesday, the week is half-way over, and Friday keeps looking nicer and closer. Plus, on Valentine's Day, one that will surely knock my anxiety levels up another level, I'll be doped up on Novocaine for most of the afternoon. Sometimes it's nice to be uber-sensitive to medications of any kind.

*snuggles into new Time Lord sweatshirt* Ah, seriously, I feel a hell of a lot better. All's well that end's well, I suppose. Maybe some video games now? Or maybe watch some Classic Who, seeing as that's the real Doctor Who. *snickers*

Now I just laugh at it. It's all Doctor Who!

Oh, and I listened to the Series 5 Soundtrack most of the way through today until I realized, about five tracks away from the ending, that I couldn't recognize any of the tracks, didn't even know I was listening to music at all, and it had completely floated into the background of my consciousness. Sigh. The Specials soundtrack will still be my favorite. *hums along*
