I think I'm going to quit lotsapasta even though its my only source of income. I'm working there saturday and sunday on top of at least 8 hours of places to be on weekdays. So I think a break is in order. I'm working downtown right next to the palace. My job is going to be mainly slave to the programing director, Stacy. Once the spring rolls around I'm gonna be working more with Marketing to set up events like Waterfront Wednsdays and

"Our little 'grand experiment' continues as we return to Louisville, Kentucky for the next AAA NON-COMM.
We have been able to continue this yearly get-together because of you: all of the great radio station personnel, the record companies who provide sponsorship and artists, and the various and sundry managers, press, and commercial radio friends who make this one of the most unique and fun conventions anywhere. Thank you for your past participation, and thanks in advance for attending this coming year.
Here's what we want to achieve - our yearly mantra: (1) to have fun and celebrate this business of ours, (2) to see GREAT music and discover tomorrow's stars and (3) to network and learn how to serve our audiences better. We've got a feeling that this is going to be a very special year!
Music, music, music - if there's one thing this convention has become known for it's the diversity, quality AND quantity of the live performers. Norah Jones, Los Lonely Boys, Sonic Youth, Patti Smith, Jamie Cullum, Rodney Crowell, The Flaming Lips, Rufus Wainwright, Johnny Marr, Citizen Cope, Patty Griffin, Ben Folds, Damien Rice, Mindy Smith, John Cale, Matisyahu, Paul Westerberg, My Morning Jacket, Jason Mraz, Aimee Mann, Bob Mould…that's just a few of the great artists who have played the NON-COMMvention over the years. We'll most certainly add names to this fine list after this years' convention.
This get-together works because of all of you. You're all cordially invited - non-commercial AND commercial radio personnel, record promoters, record company personnel, artists, managers, writers, publishers, etc. The diversity is what makes it fun and effective. While this gathering started as and continues to be primarily for AAA non-commercial radio stations, commercial stations are cordially invited to attend, and we consider our commercial brethren an important part of the overall mix.
Also this year!! For the first time, we are reaching out to the non-comm stations' development/marketing/underwriting departments. We will be holding several breakout sessions for your development department folks…meetings and idea exchanges surrounding on-air fundraising, sales, marketing, etc. If your station features the AAA format for some or all of its programming schedule, you should make sure that your development department attend this year's NON-COMMvention! Let your staff know that they're cordially invited, and that more information is coming to them shortly!
We will also continue our General Managers breakout sessions at the 2006 NON-COMMvention under the supervision of WFPK's GM Gerry Weston.
Please invite anyone who is in this profession that would benefit by attending. Go to the NON-COMMvention page here at Triplearadio.com for info on registration, hotels and air travel. Registration opens soon! Thanks, and we look forward to seeing you in Louisville!"

I intend of having a tremendous amount of fun with it. The bitch comes in parking at 5th street garage 75$
per month. Though I'm not greedy and if any of you ever need a place to park for a Palace show just give me a call.

Lots to do tomorrow. Cancel my USBank account...open a new account with the Credit Union...try to keep my brain busy. Thats the main thing...I think it will be for a while.

Also taking Philosophy and Theology in the same semester cause I'm nuts like that. I am being pushed more and more to a eastern way of thought. I like the ideals and the calmness of it all. It seems to be calling me.

I have much to account for, and much to repent for.

I think I'm going to go throw on some Explosions in the Sky on and meditate.
