Title: You’re Guaranteed To Run This Town 35/?
Rating: NC-17
Summary: Adam has the problem that he dates all the wrong guys, and it seems that it’s going to happen all over again when he meets Kris - a young punk who’s really just a softie under all the leather and false confidence.
Warnings: M/M sex (biting, light bondage), cussing, fluff (seriously, like, 75% of this chapter is fluff)
Notes: Yay! Got it all done in time! :D Silly computer decided just as I finished the chapter a few days ago to crap out and erase most of everything so I had to start from scratch with this one. BB is just about done so hopefully if I can finish it I can concentrate on this and wing!fic.
Kris moaned, arching up against Adam, twisting his hands against the headboard, just to feel the butter-soft leather around his wrists tighten. Adam chuckled softly against his skin, lips and tongue kissing and lapping at the dip in his throat.
Adam moved down Kris' body, alternating between laving his nipples with his tongue and blowing over the stiffening buds, dragging a biting kiss over them to travel further down his stomach. Kris gasped when Adam sucked hard at his skin, pulling away to admire the mark his sucking kiss left behind.
It felt like hours passing by; Adam worshiping him with kisses and bites, leaving behind his mark everywhere, Kris shuddering just looking down himself and seeing them. Adam claiming him in that slow and maddening way was... oh...
Kris drew in a sharp breath, feeling warm, velvety wetness enveloping his cock. “A-Adam...” He tugged at the cuffs again, this time trying to get free, wanting to touch Adam. Adam, however, just kept licking away at him, blue eyes staring up at him over the seeming miles of his pale, quivering stomach and the bruise-like Adam marks left behind. He dropped his head back, watching just being too much, way too much.
He gasped again, feeling Adam's fingers pressing into his thighs, like he was asking for permission. Kris nodded his head, panting, waiting, then moaning when Adam's grip tightened and he sucked Kris in the rest of the way. “God... Adam...” He struggled a bit more. “Need you...”
Kris whimpered softly when Adam pulled off, crawling gracefully back up the length of him. He lifted his head up, then moaned when Adam pressed their mouths together, tongue dipping in to search his mouth as his freckled fingers traced the circle of the cuffs, tickling his wrists. Kris moaned into Adam's mouth again, rocking up against him, gasping and shivering when their hips moved together.
Adam groaned, eyes closed and pretty, swollen lips parting, then he was moving back down Kris' body, licking and suckling lightly at every mark. He smiled against Kris' skin when he felt Kris' cock twitching against his stomach, then pushed the rest of the way down to Kris' hips. He licked his lips, staring up into Kris' darkened brown eyes the entire time, pink tongue swirling over his once coral pink lips that were now swollen and red, making Kris moan even more.
“Adam...” Kris whined softly, then even louder when Adam started lapping at the skin around the base of his cock, never quite touching him where he needed. Kris whimpered, thrashing against the cuffs again. Needing, needingneedingneeding...
Adam's swollen lips curled and he brushed his hand slowly up Kris' body, eventually reaching his hand, letting Kris' fingers curl over his, then moaned when Kris came, just like that.
“That's it, baby...” Adam murmured against his hip, rocking just slightly against Kris' leg, voice breathy and light.
“Adam...” Kris moaned, then squeezed his fingertips again, harder than before. “Need you...”
Adam groaned, then moved back up Kris' body, now rocking his hips against Kris' stomach, his own cock getting wet and sticky in the pool of cum on his stomach. Kris shuddered, then moved up to press his mouth to Adam, hard, needing it to be hard, feeling like... after all the claiming Adam had done on his skin he needed to return the favor, show Adam and everyone and especially himself that Adam was his.
Adam took the chain from the cuffs on Kris' wrists, the only thing holding his hands to the headboard, and as soon as he was free Kris flipped them over, latching onto Adam's shoulder and sucking, bringing his hand down between them to wrap around Adam and the sticky mess covering him. He moaned, feeling Adam's skin vibrate under his lips with it, and feeling Adam's own cries of pleasure as he started to come undone with just the few tugs Kris had given him, adding to the mess between them.
Adam laughed suddenly. “That... that was amazing.”
That's an understatement. Kris beamed down at his lover and tilted his head down, licking slowly into Adam's laughing mouth. When he pulled away, Adam just stared up at him, smiling softly, lovingly. “More than.” Adam's smile curled even more at that and Kris chuckled, stroking his dry hand along Adam's chest. “Thanks, baby.”
Adam kissed his neck, one of his marks, making Kris moan softly. “Mmm, seriously. Not. a. problem.” Adam dropped his head back, eyes closed and pretty, freckled throat stretching out. “I think your kinks may kill me with sex, though.” He sighed dramatically. “It'll be a good death.”
Kris rolled his eyes, flicking Adam's chin. “You're ridiculous.” He nuzzled against Adam's chest. “Thank you, though... Really.”
He felt Adam press his lips softly to his head, almost like a whisper of affection after a storm of it. It didn't make it feel any less loving, though, and it still managed to make his heart swell with too much love to hold, his lips curling in a giddy smile that he didn't want to hide from Adam. “I love you...” Adam murmured, a hand brushing comfortingly over his spine, repeating the trip up and down so many times Kris lost count. “And if there's anything that I can do to help you, or that you want to experience, I'm always willing to do it.”
Kris brushed his still smiling lips against Adam's skin, feeling his heart pick up slightly under the sea of freckles, then nodded. “Same here. Anything, always...” He placed a kiss right over Adam's heart. “Love you, so much.”
Adam smiled at him sleepily, hand still rubbing up and down his back, and eventually they both settled into sleep, still sticky, and warm against each other, and somewhere in the back of his mind Kris knew that when they woke up it was going to suck cleaning up, but right then? He couldn't care less, just being with Adam, close to him as possible, sleeping in the warm, gentle circle of his arms, that was all he wanted.
Adam grimaced as he woke up, the sun pouring across his face and Kris' body draped across him, grimacing even more when he shifted and he felt the dried come between them. Lovely. Still, Adam didn't move Kris. Instead he inched himself across the between, trying to move them as little as possible so as not to wake Kris up, then reached out to pull the blinds shut. He stayed in bed for a while, just watching Kris sleep. He'd noticed that now, sleep seemed to be the only time that Kris was guaranteed a peace of some kind. He'd caught the worried looks that Kris wore sometimes, and how he just seemed worn down to the bone, especially after a therapy session, like it hurt to even just think to breath his head was so filled with his worries and fears. Watching Kris sleep had gotten to be a bit of a thing for him. It felt like... hope, that maybe, hopefully, one day Kris would be at peace like that all the time, that those memories haunting him nearly every waking hour would just give in and leave him to be happy like he deserved.
Sighing, Adam carefully removed himself from under Kris, shifting him around and cleaning him gently with a handful of tissues before he went to shower and move on with the day. When he was done, Kris was still knocked out on the bed, his face now squished up into a pillow and even drooling a little bit. Adam chuckled softly, then grimaced as he heard something beeping out in the main room.
He grimaced at the answering machine and pressed the play button. He paused, though, as he just heard himself on the machine, saying that he wasn't there to leave a message, the usual. It was before Kris and... he sounded different, he thought. Maybe not as... happy? But that'd be silly, it's an answering machine message, and he was alone at the time and probably still trying to get over... over Hayden... He frowned at himself; still tripping over his name. I'm never going to get through this, am I? Here Kris is, being so, so brave, fighting through things so much more difficult, and here I am still hung up on him. He huffed and stared down at the machine. Then he straightened up a little bit.
Kris... does he live with me now? Officially? Well, not officially seeing as I've never... hmm. Adam sat on the couch beside the machine - half-listening to Brad rattling off something about how he needs to turn his damn cell on, he doesn't care what the hell he's doing, if he has to resort to leaving a message on his house phone it was pretty damn sad and he needs to pay attention to his best friend once in a while and - then grinned to himself.
I think it's about time to make it official. We already pretty much live together, and really, we've been together for long enough. I've moved in with a guy in just a week and it's been almost three months for us! Yeah, yeah I think... oh...
He deflated a little bit, frowning. What if it's not time for Kris yet? Asking him to live with me full-time and taking away Tommy and Allison could set him off. But... it's not like I'm taking him away from them completely. He could always visit them and they're always welcome here so it's not like I'm ripping him away from his family. He paused a moment, then nodded. Right, when Kris wakes up, I'll ask him. There shouldn't be any problem in asking, right?
“Adam?” Oh. Didn't... think he'd be awake now. Crap.
Adam looked up to see Kris in the entrance to the hallway, bleary-eyed and holding himself up with the wall, not cleaned up at all so the little ways his hair had grown out was sticking out everywhere but where it was smooshed down along with the marks the pillow left on his cheek. He was beautiful and... and Adam wanted to wake up to that every damn day. He wanted it so much, and he hadn't even realized because... he smiled softly, because he already had been.
“Hey.” He stood up, and curled his arms around Kris, warming when Kris just snuggled up right against him, humming happily. “I, um, I wanted to ask you something and... it's nothing big but... um...” He trailed off and eventually Kris looked up at him, face open and just... Adam wanted him so much, wanted him with him until... until... he didn't know when. He... he kind of thought that maybe... he always wanted Kris with him, forever and... if that wasn't supposed to be a scary thought, he didn't know what was. But... somehow, it wasn't scary. The fact that he was thinking of having Kris with him forever, years and years and years down the path. He... he was looking forward to it, actually. He hadn't even begun to think of anything like that with anyone else and... maybe a part of it was because they were sort of... crash-coursing through a relationship; leaving out their baggage early and helping each other cope with it and over all making them so, so close to each other. Then again, they already were pretty close together, like, on some level their souls were entwined the minute they were in the same room or something and...
Kris is still staring at him, more awake now, still waiting for his question. Oh. “Uh...” Adam brushed his hands up and down Kris' sides, then let out a breath and bit the bullet. “You want to move in with me? Like, officially?” He paused for a second to take in Kris' expression then spoke up again. “I mean, if you're worried about Tommy and Allison we could go see them anytime, and they're welcome here any time at all, I mean, I like them, how could I not with how they've taken care of you so much, but... I just...” Rambling, he was rambling. He stopped when he saw Kris' small grin then took another breath. “I just... I realized that, we already pretty much are living together and... I wanted to... you know, make it... official. Because, I... I want to wake up with you every day, and know I get to wake up to you everyday, and know that I can just... come home and find you and wrap my arms around you when I'm having a bad day or...”
He trailed off again when Kris stopped him with a finger against his lips, his small curling smile evolved into a full grin. Kris nodded. “I'll talk to Tommy at work and ask him to help me clear out, and then we can make it official.”
Adam felt warmth and happiness and sugar and spice and everything nice fill him up, his lips curling because... because he couldn't hide that happiness he felt, the happiness that was so big he felt his hands shaking. He let out a giddy laugh and leaned down to press his lips to Kris', lifting him up when Kris' arms curled around behind his neck and twirled him around in the middle of his apartment. Their apartment.
The phone rang again as Adam pushed Kris back into the bedroom, helping him get ready, not caring about whoever was calling at the moment because Kris is officially living with him and, and he could not be happier than just kissing Kris in-between him washing up and getting dressed, cleaning up his clutter around the apartment for the rest of Kris' things, smiling wide when he saw the shirts and jeans already strewn across the bedroom and packing into the duffel in the corner that left Kris' imprint everywhere.
Adam beamed, then laughed suddenly, light and happy. Kris entangling with him even more, just... even more completely in his life was... awesome, amazing.
“Okay, so...”
“Well... since this is your place and all, and really I have this in case there's an emergency and someone can't reach me on my cell or for other reasons and...” He shrugged and gestured at the machine. “You... you live here now so if Tommy or Alli or Aiden need to get a hold of you and your cells out?”
Kris grinned. “Sure, okay.” He laughed as Adam pouted. “I very much doubt someone's going to call here for me, especially considering people rarely call for you on that phone.”
Adam shrugged. “Sometimes... Hey, I had it before the cell, and just... never got rid of it, okay.” Kris chuckled and Adam pulled him in then pressed the button on the answering machine to record a new message. “Come on.”
Kris laughed, just as the machine started recording, and Adam laughed with him as he spoke up. “This is Adam...” He nudged Kris, who just laughed even more before finally reeling himself in enough to speak.
“And, Kris.”
His lips twitched and he had to hide his face into Adam's shoulder to keep from bursting out again. Adam watched him with amusement, Kris just shaking his head, mouthing 'I don't even know why I'm doing this, can't stop, sorry' as Adam finished the message with laughter in his voice. Once the machine beeped again, Adam tackled Kris onto the couch, both of them quickly dissolving into a mess of giggling and grinning kisses.
They'd just about gotten over their bout of laughter, ignoring the quiet ringing of the phone, when the machine started up again, playing their newly recorded message with more laughter, and then Brad spoke through. “Well, fuck me. I was about to bitch you out for not picking up your phone but obviously you two are celebrating.” Kris bit into his lip, still shaking with little tremors of laughter as he looked over Adam. “I'll call you back in about a week or so when your finished up. If you are. Use protecti-”
The rest of Brad's message was lost when Adam lifted Kris up, his hands circling around his thighs as Kris wrapped his legs around Adam's waist and pressed happy, giggle-filled kisses to his mouth.
