It's been "one of those days" all week!

So, in other news, I went to my class tonight.  Or, rather, I tried to go to my class tonight.  What happened was that I went online and registered for this class on the OCC website.  On the website, the schedule said that the class was on Wednesday nights.  "Cool!" I thought.  "It will not conflict with my Craft Night get-togethers on Thursday nights.  Yay me!"

Then, this Monday, I went to the campus to double check about taking the class and see if I actually had to pay for it, and see  if I needed any different books this time around.  So, I went to the counseling office and spoke to one of the women working behind the counter.  She cleared up everything for me, was able to find out who the teacher was for the class, and when it was meeting.  She told me that the class met on Thursday nights.

So, I went to the school tonight.  I was told the class started at 6.  I got in the building at 6:05.  The classroom door was closed, and the lights were turned off.  There were a bunch of other students waiting in the hallway.  So, even though I didn't recognize anyone from other ASL classes I have taken (they might be new to the program, and I haven't seen them before... I have been away from the program for 2 semesters) I sat in the hallway and waited.  Maybe this teacher was caught up at a different job, or... something.  I waited until 6:30, then got up, and went upstairs to the counseling office.  I wanted to find a schedule and double check the day and time of the class.

Sure enough, the paper schedule said that the class was on Thursday nights from 6 to 7:55.  There were 2 women still  working the registration window, so I was able to check with them.  When this class was found in the computer, it was/is scheduled for Wednesday nights from 7 to 8:55.

I was a day late, but an hour early!

Now I need to contact the teacher and let her know that I want to re-take the class, but I was miss informed about the time and day.  I hope that since I have only missed the first day, that I can still sit in on the rest of the class.

Yay!  The drama continues...
