out of the loop

Over the weekend, the power went out in my building.  When I got my power back on, my outlook e-mail was no longer recognising me as a user.  :-(

I have been trying to get it to work again, but nothing will work.

When I moved into this place, and established internet access with dial-up through A.O.Hell, my Outlook couldn't talk to my computer.  so, my friend Mike fiddled with it, and found a work around.  Yay!!!

However, the power outage hasfoobared all of that work, and now I am back to no e-mail.

So, if you e-mail me something, and I don't respond... it's not because I am avoiding you, or because I don't want to talk to you... it's because I don't know if you have sent me anything.

What this all boils down to is this:
I purchased my plane ticket on the Orbitz website.  At the end of the process, I was told that I would be receiving my confirmation information in an e-mail in the next 24 hours.  I CAN'T GET TO MY E-MAIL TO GET THIS INFORMATION!!!!

And, I'm a little freaking out.

I have called customer service for Orbitz, and they gave me all the important information to aquire my ticket at the airport.  So, I really am fine.  I really AM fine.  I really am FINE.  (maybe if I keep saying it, I'll beleive it?)  I just wish my e-mail was working again, and I could read this confirmation e-mail, and print it out, so that i could have it with me.

THAT, would make me feel better.

::sigh::  I have to get up at 5:00am tomorrow.  {zzzzzzzzz}  Really, I enjoy traveling, I do, I do!  But not THAT early in the morning.  In this case, it's getting to the destination that matters... not the journey.
