Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I still live.
I went to go see "X2" with some friends tonight. It was really quite good. Maybe as good as the first, but it has been a year or so since I saw "X-men." Unlike many sequels, it wasn't just a boring rehash of the same plot.
While we were at the movie this big storm must have blown through Denton because while
driving back from dropping John at his apartment more than half the streetlights were not on and there were whole neighborhoods that didn't seem to have any power. It was creepy.
I only have one final left before my semester is officially over. It is kind of weird, I have wanted this semester to be over for so long I'm not really sure what to do now that it is.
My roomie, Liz, is beginning her novel tomorrow. She is going to write something like 1200 words a day five days a week for the whole summer. I have decided to write with her as a moral-support slash need-to-work-on-my-own-writing thing. The only problem is I'm not really sure what it is I want to write about. I'm not going to be tackling anything as serious, or lengthy, as a novel but some sort of direction would be nice. Oh well, I'm sure I'll think of something.
