so that guy friend of mine who came over thursday? well his name's jay, and he's from hudson. and we semi-worked at camp together a couple of summers. WELL, totally not my type. he's kind of a dick. and when i say kind of, i mean he's REALLY a dick. picks on me for political views, religious views, called me a hypocrite. and then he had the balls to expect sex out of coming over and hanging out. like NOOOO I DON'T THINK SO!!! i mean, don't get me wrong, he's good looking and whatever. but if you want to get in a girl's pants, don't pick on her relentlessly and not teasingly, then start making out with her and giving her bruises and whatnot, and then expect more. I DON'T THINK SO GUY.
lol so that's my rant about him... in other news...
went to North Hampton Beach with my friend Kara from school and her semi-boy thing named Tom who we worked with at Ed Camp. he said he was bringing his friend Matt and Kara was like "I think it's this Matt guy who is wicked cute and in the military etc. etc. etc.".... well, we go to Tom's in Chelmsford bcuz he has the bigger car, and we go to pick up Matt. well, it wasn't the Matt who Kara was thinking of. Nope, this was a total stoner guy. I mean, he wasn't that bad. He was fun to talk to and hang out with. But Kara texted me while we drove up to NH and was like "I'm so sorry. Remind me to ask further questions to facebook creep when Tom wants to set you up with someone."... like clearly, neither of us was interested in the other one as more than a friend. it was just that kind of vibe we were both getting and giving. but after 3 hours on the beach (beautiful day of 80 degree weather, freezing cold waters of like 57 degrees), we drove up to Portsmouth and got dinner there at this wicked good pub called the Rusty Hammer. best burgers and onion rings ever. it was so good and wicked inexpensive. it was a good day. got back to Kara's around 9:30 or so Friday night and was totally and completely sunburnt. it was and is painful. but, it's already starting to tan on my legs so I'm excited :-D

this is my last week at home before camp owns me for 7 weeks. i'll be home on Saturdays, however I do want to see you guys. I miss you all. sorry I couldn't go to Cate's Saturday night but I was way too worn out from the past few days and there was a lot to do at the house. so, if anyone would like to hang out this week, I'd love to see you guys :-D
um in other news, i'd just like to say that i'm okay not being in a relationship. boys confuse me. and i'm okay with that as well. it makes for a more entertaining time. and i'm not looking for anything right now either. if it falls into my lap then good. i'll be happy with it. and if it doesn't, then there's still plenty of time. camp is going to be interesting with all of these issues with the boys. but i'm sure it'll be entertaining.
i'll have my laptop with me while i'm there so at nights if anything exciting happens i'll update you guys. but just like a pre-request type thing? if you're planning like day trips and whatever during the weeks while i'm gone, can you not include me on them? it gets a little crazy and stuff when i'm not home and then i get on facebook and it's like you have a thousand notifications on this thread that you're not even attending anyways. i mean, if it's gonna be on a saturday then sure, include me. but like, if it's during the week, even at night, i can't usually make it, especially this summer with all the new regulations and stuff that are going on. i love you all and whatnot, but it just gets a little annoying.
