Three things.

Three things make a post (or so I've been lead to believe):

1.) My copy of Stephen Wildman's Edward Burne-Jones: Victorian Artist-Dreamer arrived in the post this morning. (Thanks to elrhiarhodan for pointing me towards it.) Huzzah! I'm looking forward to reading it. *wriggles with excitement*

(My collection of artist monographs and exhibition catalogues is rather paltry, I'm sad to say, but I'm--very slowly--working to expand it. Silly student budget.)

And now I'm covetously eyeing my Amazon Wish List again. It's no wonder that I don't have a Hugo Boss suit yet; I keep spending most of my disposable income on books. (They're for writing research, I swear.)

2.) Borrowing the concept from my friend C, I started a private personal daily writing project a couple of days ago in order to keep my hand in in writing prose fiction. (It's been almost exclusively screenwriting for about a year or so now, which is fine--great, even--as I really do enjoy it, but I don't want to let my prose suffer for lack of practising it.) Ideally, the project will run for a year at minimum; let's see for how long I can actually keep it up.

3.) I do believe that I ought to give Philip Glass another go, only in part because I would like to be able to read/see David Ives' Philip Glass Buys a Loaf of Bread again and have it make sense this time. Also because 'Molly Is a Dreamer' is so lovely; I just wish that it were longer!
