I am thoroughly pissed off. I've just spent the day trying to sort out my laptop, the screen had started flickering and was going straight to battery. So I went to get a new charger at a local shop, but asked that they test first and see if that was indeed the case (I didn't want to buy anything unnecessary - or it could have been something worse) whisked away with my charger and told me it worked fine and refused to show me what they were doing, they said there was nothing wrong with the charger it was the computer and would be at least £120 to fix. Didn't entirely believe them, it only seemed to have a problem when the charger was attached, so I took it to another shop and they tested everything in front of me, showed me it was indeed a fault with the charger and so now i have a new one (at half the cost) and everything is great! Those lying bastards at the first shop: Halifax Computers.
I hate ze technologies anyway. I accept that I am clearly incompetant and understand nothing and that everyone else knows far more, I realise I should turn up bowing before them... but they shouldn't try to cheat people. SCUMBAGS!
Anyway, I went to see The Producers on Saturday night (pre-run so I could sit down without squeaking) and it was much better than the run I saw in London. Some scenes were a bit disappointing, I still prefer the original film with Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel. But it was fun and great to see everyone! I have 'Springtime for Hitler' stuck in my head... again.
