What was your biggest disillusion as a child?
That not everyone's Gramps was a renowned Pokemon Professor.
What's one thing no one knows about you?
I'm still not sure where my parents took off to, but I'm sure they're very happy off in Isshu or wherever the fuck they ended up.
What's one thing everyone assumes about you that isn't true?
That I train the same I did when I became Champion. I don't. Even I can learn a thing or two. Also, for some reason people are always giving me sympathy because they heard from whoever that my Raticate died. He didn't, so knock it off. When I was little, I gave him to my sister to keep her company. He isn't really one for battling.
What's one thing you wish you could stop?
Blowing through money, but I just can't help it. I want Giovanni to come back to my gym and see how much more awesome it is now that he's not running it.
What's one thing you've always wanted to do, but never have?
Spend a week on Hoenn's beaches, just me, my Pokemon, and a groupie who has something to prove.
What are you a sucker for?
Aggressiveness. Also, adoration.
What's your biggest pet peeve?
People who think they're high and mighty. I mean, I get it, your bond with your Pokemon makes you stronger. I get along with my Pokemon too, but you don't see us talking about it all day and night.
What is your most prized possession?
My necklace.
What can absolutely make your day, no matter what?
A win.
What's the worst part of your life right now?
I'm separated from three of my most powerful Pokemon, but it's no one's fault but my own. To make them take off on my behalf at this point... I don't own them.

I have little to no tolerance for rugrats.

Well, I wouldn't take off right after they're born, that's for sure.

I guess you could say it was the unspoken advice to move onto greener pastures whenever possible.

He's of average height, and of average build, more on the thin side than the buff side (lol nope). He's got some definition from climbing all over mountains and shit I guess though, but he's pretty skinny.

He's very healthy.

He holds himself with intense pride, and moves the same way.

He likes the way he looks in the mirror, and so do the ladies. He's got a handsome face, and a set of eyes that can glitter on command. Glitter like emeralds. But really, he's not a model or anything. He's good- looking, but a whole lot of it is swagger.

He has a light complexion. He doesn't tan easily, he's more likely to burn.

Dark Auburn. It can get light enough to be rusty, but is generally brown. It's fluffy, it sticks up everywhere.

Very green, hence the name.

Not really. He has to wear reading glasses.

When he gets too stressed, he'll get bad migraines, and when he worries too much, he'll get sympathy stomachaches.

He dresses casual, usually just a pair of cargo pants or jeans and a form fitting t-shirt or hooded thermal under his favorite bomber jacket. In colder weather he'll wear baggy sweaters, in warmer he'll wear short sleeved polos, generally. In harsher conditions he tends to tuck his pants into tall boots. He prefers darker colors. DO I GET POINTS FOR ALL OF THE ABOVE CLOTHES BEING GAME CANON
For official school brizzness he'll probably throw on an unbuttoned SBG uniform shirt over a wifebeater or something.

Yeah, sure.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
It's in the middle, it's not super deep or anything, but it's definitely a man's voice. Nasal. Definitely nasal. He grew into it a bit, but when he's on a tangent shit can still get annoying real fast.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
He talks like he acts-- sure of himself. He's not soft by any sense of the word, and it can get loud when he doesn't pay attention to using an indoor voice. Although he is confident, when he's talking about something he doesn't know much about or has no energy to deal with, he'll be very avoidant and noncommittal.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
I guess he has a Kanto accent, whatever that means. I don't think anyone outside of the Pokemon universe would notice that he has any accent at all, he just might pronounce some words differently. As for verbal tics, he tends to rely heavily on the word "whatever", and when he's trying to embellish a point, he'll say "for real" more times than is necessary.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Um you know. English. I don't know, he's not good at memorization so he'd be shit at learning a new one. I don't know what the general ruling on the Japan-based Poke-continent national language is but I guess WHATEVER.

No.

He's very confident.

He's eloquent enough, but his vocabulary isn't very extensive.

He's actually pretty smart. He likes to stay ahead of the game. He's more street-smart, though.

He thinks very well on his feet, as do most Pokemon trainers.

Intuitive, definitely. He has a pretty healthy division of idealistic and practical, depending on what the situation warrants.

He's a gym leader, so he's pretty damn good at strategy. He figures he knows all he has to.

Extrovert.

He has mood swings. He definitely mellowed out since being a child, but he's incredibly driven, and can be very irrational when he gets angry. Smug otherwise.

He doesn't take to new people right off, he needs to sniff them out to determine whether it'll be a person willing to put up with his bullshit, first. If not, then you're not worth his time, and he's bound to be known as an asshole to you forever more.

Act.

Fight, duh.

He's got a harsh sense of humor, and likes to have fun at the expense of others.

Abandonment issues. He's grown out of most childhood conduct disorders he might have shown signs of, but he's always been vindictive in a socialized sense.

His parents leaving without a word. Starting his Pokemon journey. Beating the Elite Four. Being beaten by Red. Getting his gym. Meeting Aiden.

Relationships

Nonexistant. They weren't the most present parents when they were around, and after they took off they never sent word back to Prof. Oak, Daisy, or Green. Daisy, in all of her empathy and elegance, never expressed an interest in tracking them, and as Green grew, he shared the same sentiment.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
He has an older sister, Daisy. He can he cruel to her, but he really appreciates her more than he can say, and looks up to her strength.

His grandfather, who was very present through his childhood, and took on a mentor position to him. He can't stand his parents, but then, he doesn't really know them.

His Pokemon, who he would be lost without, really. They mean the world to him. Red, his rival, is very much the brother Green never had, and he talks shit about him all the time, but he's been a constant in his life as far back as he can remember. Blue is like an annoying little sister, but Green can get protective.

He's comfortable. Gramps is kind of loaded, and as a gym leader he should be too but he has a problem with blowing through funds.

He lives in a modest house in Viridian. He visits Pallet often though, where he stays with his sister. In SBG, he lives in a dorm.

He's a gym leader/RA/TA. He isn't great at the latter two, but the first thing he's pretty sweet at, or else he wouldn't have gotten the job. He is the last gym leader in all of Kanto, after all, he has to be tough.
