The Teams Comes Together (Enemy Within Meta)

Sorry this is late. It's also not as indepth as I would have liked, but someone seems to have stolen my ability to articulate myself. Warning: there are mentions of future episodes. If you haven't viewed the entire series and are a spoilerphobe, you might want pass on this.

Forgive me as I get a bit melodramatic )

If you watch through 1969 perspective, you have to give Hammond a lot of credit. he knows that one day he'll have to write a note to give to Sam. He knows that once, long ago, he met four people that are now under his command right now. He doesn't know the how or why. I'm sure he has doubts.

Like, I know I'm supposed to do this but did I make the right decision? Teal'c is an alien but can he really be trusted? Daniel is supposed to be with him, but should he? Jack tends toward subordination so I need to keep him in line, but he's important. Sam needs to make it work. I mean he must have to walk a fine line. He's level leaded enough to live normal and take one day at a time but there must be some questions and concerns under the surface. If he was a lesser person, he probably would have unraveled a bit by now.

As you know, I'm a big friendship fan of all the characters, but I do really love Sam and Daniel (and Jack and Daniel, of course). They had some awesome moments in this episode. I love early seasons Daniel and Sam. But while they had some fab moments, this episode really was about Jack and Teal'c :)
