Here are the answers to Part 2 of the redial quiz. If you haven't taken the quiz yet, you can find it here. (No peeking!)

We'll be posting parts three and four next week.

1. In CotG, how did Apophis return to Chulak from Earth?
Your guess is as good as mine. (They never actually show how it happens on the show. Apparently there's a handheld device like Cassandra used in 1969 mentioned in the novelization, but the show canon never explains it. It's the pilot, these things happen.)

2. What did Jack use to break Hammond's car window?
A hockey stick

3. What was Sam wearing when her team came to rescue her in "Emancipation"?
A brown native outfit. She lost the blue dress after her first escape attempt.

4. When does Daniel first realize he's in another reality?
This question was inspired by our redial chat of TBFTGOG. After Jack sends a bomb to Chulak, this conversation happens:
O'NEILL: Send the bomb.
...
[The bomb is sent via remote control through the event horizon.]
...
O'NEILL: Proceed with evacuation until that next warhead is ready.
DANIEL: You know there are innocent human beings on most of the Goa'uld planets, don't you?
O'NEILL: (to Catherine) Unless this man has more information we can use, I don't want to see him again.
[O'Neill stalks out of the room, while Carter and Catherine look at Daniel.]
DANIEL: This isn't happening. This is nuts. This isn't happening. This isn't happening. Is it--is it possible that the Stargate malfunctioned or went haywire, and...and...and I came through into a totally screwed-up different version of Earth?
CARTER: No, I doubt that. The Stargate uses space/time to create a wormhole that allows us to travel across great distances, but it-it doesn't take you to an alternate reality.
DANIEL:Alternate reality?
Of course, he knew something was wrong much earlier, but he didn't know what. He was totally confused as to what was going on. Obviously, Daniel doesn't watch/read enough science fiction.

5. What is the name of Teal'c's wife?
Drey'auc. Shaun'auc was his childhood love, Shauna is his dream image of Shau'nauc, Ishta is his girlfriend starting in Season 7, except for/despite that little fling he had with Krista (no apostrophe) in Season 8 (Teal'c's a bit of a player, isn't he?)

6. What is the biggest WTF in Hathor?
Any and/or all answers acceptable.

7. Why did General West allow Daniel to go through the Stargate?
Daniel bluffed (or as fig would say "lied through his teeth") that he could get the team back. (Even though Jack O'Neil thought he was full of shit).

8. What was Cassandra's bomb made of?
potassium and naquadah
CARTER: Now, potassium can be one of the most volatile alkaline metals on Earth. Combined with even a small concentration of naquadah, and…

9. Why did Hammond not allow Jack to return to Cartago with a strike team?
All of the options given were listed by Hammond as reasons he could not permit SG-1 to have backup.
HAMMOND: I'm confused, Captain. Are these people hostiles?
CARTER: Well sir, that would depend on your definition of hostiles.
O'NEILL: They have Teal'c prisoner. They plan to execute him. I'd call that hostile.
HAMMOND: But it sounds to me as if they've treated the rest of you with the utmost respect. Now you want to launch an assault on them?
O'NEILL: No, sir. I'm hoping once they see our superior numbers and firepower, they'll release him without incident.
HAMMOND: Colonel, the United States is not in the business of interfering in other people's affairs.
O'NEILL: Since when, sir?
HAMMOND: Since this administration was elected.
O'NEILL: Well, I don't think the president would have a problem with us going in and trying to rescue one of our own.
HAMMOND: Teal'c is not one of our own.
CARTER: He's not?
HAMMOND: I mean in the eyes of the government. He's not an American citizen. Hell, he's not even an Earth citizen.
O'NEILL: I don't believe I'm hearing this from you, sir.
...
HAMMOND: These people's laws in this regard are no different from our own. We don't stop pursuing war criminals because they have a change of heart.
O'NEILL: War criminals.
HAMMOND: Yes, Colonel, he is. Like it or not, what the Jaffa have done to these people and thousands of other people is a crime. Now Teal'c spent many years serving the Goa'uld doing some damned distasteful things. Surely both of you must realize that this was bound to happen sooner or later.
...
CARTER: Sir, Teal'c has proven his loyalty to us countless times. Don't you think we should do the same?
HAMMOND: My own personal opinion says yes. But the government policies under which I must weigh my decisions, say no.

10. Why didn't the Tollan want to share their technology with the Tau'ri?
They'd been badly burned in the past by sharing technology.
NARIM: We offered them a device…to produce unlimited productive energy. And they used it to make war...In one rotation of our planet, they had destroyed theirs...The destruction shifted our planet's orbit point 3 tekanna, enough to begin a chain of events that…made our world unstable.
CARTER: So that would explain why he's so afraid to give a society like ours any of your technology.
NARIM: Yes.
Of course, you can't blame them for not wanting to share their tech with Harry either. ;-)

11. How many times did Jack have broken bones before the Antarctica incident?
Nine (as long as skull fractures count)
CARTER: Sorry, sir, but I've never done this before in my life. Is this your first broken bone?
O'NEILL: Ah, ah, no. This…this would be, uh, nine, if you count skull fractures.
