(no subject)
So the first thing I did when I got to school today was to go to the poster sale and let them know that they hadn't included one of the posters for which I had paid. The guy looked momentarily uncomfortable and a little skeptical, because there really was no way to prove that what I was saying was true. He asked me what else I had bought as well as the total price of what I paid, which was easy enough to tell him, and he decided I wasn't lying and gave me my poster. I was quite pleased. I have reaffirmed my faith in the existance of decent people. So now I have all that I wanted to get. I'm considering getting one more... I probably shouldn't, but I do really like it. I think I just might. (another Nolet print, if anyone cares.)
So I'm chilling in the Student Centre waiting for class to start. The more time I spend here on the upper floors, the more I like it. It's hard to find a place with the right amount of ambient noise. I wonder if they make CDs of ambient noise. I mean, they have tracks of waterfalls or beach sounds or forest sounds that are hours long, so I don't think it's unreasonable that they would have a track of ambient noise. I can see myself using it. Sometimes, I find silence distracting if I'm studying, and it's hard for me to study with music on because I start listening to it or dancing or singing or something stupid.
Has anyone else seen Flyboys? I downloaded it and started watching it, but I haven't finished it quite yet. I think it's pretty good so far. I just thought I'd mention that.
