So I finished my freshman year of college. Its really weird to think that its all over. But it is and for that I'm psyched. So, in honor of this accomplishment I decided to do the most cliche thing I could and do a top five list of my freshman year.

1) Dancing at the UT game

It was probably the biggest crowd that I've ever danced for (granted most were wearing burnt orange) in the biggest place I've ever dance. But with the crowd and jumbotron and getting to cheer on the owls, it was amazing!

2) The weekend of Dec. 3

The first thing about this weekend was Posada which was my choreographic debut. I had never choreographed before I went to college and the fact that I was able to, and I think it turned out really well, plus it was in Posada which you probably know me and hispanic culture, made it amazing! After it was Brown Ice Skating which was so much fun. And finally, this was the weekend that Harriet and I moved in together.....and there was a party and somehow the 10ft tall inflatable snowman from the Jones commons ended up on our roof. If you've ever fit 15 people and an inflatable snowman in an elevator you dont know how much fun it its.

3) South Beach

It's one of my favorite clubs in Houston and the first time that you've experienced the artic mist you will want to go back.

4) Sneaking into the Basquiat show

Maybe it was the fact that the party was full and they werent letting people in so Alex and I had to steal pens and draw stamps on our hadns and go in thru the side doors. Yes, maybe it was the adrenaline rush....but then there was the art, and the fact that it was in the MAFAH, and the fact that there was Grandmaster Flash. Whatever the reason, it was an amazing night.

5) The Douglas Drinker

This is my first semester english class at our crazy teacher's party that he had at the end of the semester. The man was insane, and for that reason our class bonded. We still hang out and, not to mention the open bar and finding gay porn, the party was definitely one of the highlights of the year.

Not included in this list are any specific parties because I couldnt narrow it down to a favorite. Between Bacchanalia, School Girl, 80s, NOD, 100 Days, etc. it was all so much fun. And I could never leave out TCs because that has been my rock this first year. These are just 5 of my favorite moments, but really it has all been amazing and I've loved every minute of it (except the whole work part).

Harriet gets into Savannah tomorrow and then we are leaving to meet the Brown crew in Florida!! A week at a lakehouse with 18 of my favorite people...I can't wait!
