(no subject)
OK, whew! This was the longest effing week! I'm pooped. Honestly! Would you believe that I still haven't managed to dig myself out from under the hundreds (yes, you heard right....HUNDREDS) of emails I received both at home and at work, but I'm almost there. And naturally, everyone knows I'm back so they all want a piece of me now. Geez Louise. The weekend couldn't come fast enough.
We've got two more weeks to finish things upstairs. We have to do a lot of touch ups in the bedroom and we need to finish painting the trim and the radiator in the hallway. We also have to paint the upstairs bathroom and build two radiator covers for the bedroom, but that doesn't need to be done right away.
Our new king size mattress and box spring are scheduled for delivery the week of the 19th and our bedroom furniture is scheduled for the following week. Great....mattress before furniture. Just what I wanted to deal with.
The good thing is that I'm all caught up with my replies to comments left in my journal, so tomorrow while Joe is taking care of some things that I can't help him with, I plan to catch up on my flist and be a commenting fool.
I see there's a bunch of that Get To Know You Memes out there and I plan on doing a few. I like finding things out about people, don't you?
Anyway, I just wanted to check in and say hello before I went to sleep. :)
