i hate feeling out of control of my emotions. i know that God created me the way that i am w. purpose, but i feel increasingly flawed. i know i will never be perfect but, i have been feeling haywire lately. i put so much dang pressure on myself to make everyone happy. can we say lost cause

leslie, i know that every girl secretly strives to be perfect. you are not alone in this horrible journey to be anything but ourselves. it's frustrating feeling like we have to live up to some imaginary expectation. i wish you knew what people think of you. personally, i look up to you more than any christian woman i've ever met. you are wonderful! truly a blessing. i feel like you and i are a lot alike when it comes to emotions. stress is hard, especially knowing that it gets you nowhere further in the situation. if you need any help planning things or just learning to bake (because i sure as heck need to learn soon, so i can woo a man in the kitchen) i would love to be of assistance. heck, i am just coming up with reasons why we need to hang out. truth is, i just want to hang out.

while heath was applying for a job at jamison shaw salon, this lady was getting her hair done, and her DESIGNER flipflops had none other than a clear size sticker on it. that makes me cringe. especially since they were more than just old navy floppers.

i can't tell you how much i adore you. your words were like the sound of rain to me. i feel so blessed to have such an incredible friend and sister in Christ. i love you so much and anytime you want to bake or sew or sing i'm here.

i almost peed myself when i read the part about the flip flops. hahahahahahaha!!!!

ps last night when you called i was dreaming and i looked at the caller id and thought it said some sort of catering company. i love the picture idea. just let me know the day and time!
