...a car with a mind of its own.

anyone who really knows me knows how much i adore my car. how badly i wanted it, how excited i was to get it, & the love affair we have together. we recently celebrated our six year anniversary on march 15th.

OH cabby, my beautiful black 99 (& a half) VW Cabrio... sure you've needed some serious costly repairs over these past six years, & sure you have these interesting quirks that others just don't understand, but these things have never made me love you any less.

recently your german brain has been throwing me completely off... whats up with you girl? the other day you wouldn't let me roll down my drivers side window more than 2 inches- how frustrating that was. then a couple days later you let that one go... fixed it all on your own. of course, you wait til its raining to allow it to work again cause you got a sense of humor, but i dig that. least i could hit up a drive thru or something. but you know you're crazy right, turning my wipers on when i'm signaling a turn... just randomly too, not even consistent with your silliness. Oh & making the passenger window go up & down purely by your own skills while im crusin in the rain... sweet moves, did you think that passenger seat needed a little cool off? i mean i was probably radiating off a little too much heat.

but yesterday, ohhh yesterday takes the cake. guess you just didn't feel like letting me use the passenger window, pretty annoying when im trying to drive around with the top down & all the windows...but hey, if you wanna make yourself look stupid, that's all you. but really, really........ you had to start freaking out on me while i was driving on the buckman bridge?! you just HAD to give off three consecutive little honks purely by your own devices. hello attention whore... yet, that wasnt enough for you though was it? every few miles "beep!beep!beep!" look at me everyone!! what were you even thinking doing that right when a man jogging was running RIGHT next to us, he wasn't even good looking- you were really craving that wave & wink from him. obviously. pretty ridiculous, i couldnt help but giggle every single time you did it... especially while i was on the phone & my friends are all "wtf are you honking at so much?" "ohhhh its not me, its my car, she's extra noisy today." reflecting on it now, i see you were just raging with excitement for the partayyyy you were plannin on later that night... strobe light cabby, really? REALLY? you turned my overhead light into a strobe... blinking on & off while you are honkin it up... & i am the lucky girl behind the wheel. making me look like i'm rolling or something. bahahaha

ridiculous. really.
