Spent the last few days wandering around Avoria...it's pretty big. I guess I really wasn't sure what to expect in a crazy world like this, but it all seems pretty normal.
Found the Arcade at the mall...THEY HAVE DDR! :D I haven't played since Marino stole borrowed my set at home! I can see me spending quite a few hours--and quarters--there...I wonder if anyone else here is any good? I also checked out the Academy, since I'm supposed to be attending there once the semester starts. Speaking of which, when is that? There's still so much I don't know...
I'm starting to get the idea that a return home may be quite far off in the distance. And unless they've got Mavericks hiding out around here, I'm thinking I'm probably jobless right now. Which means job hunting. I wonder what kind of careers are there for a mercenary-turned-Hunter reploid? Not that I'm going to be much of a Hunter if this keeps up...I haven't practiced or trained since I got here. I'm going to get rusty! Zero would never let me hear the end of it....
Hey, Luke, can I drop by today to meet your daughter while I'm out and about?
...Things feel...kind of strange in the mansion at the moment. I thought maybe it was just because I'm a newcomer...but I've heard there was an upset with Zuko. I haven't heard much, and I didn't want to press about the details...It just feels better to be out walking around than inside right now.
