so im in paris, which is pretty cool, but i miss home. i miss all my friends. and i never thought id say it but i kinda miss my parents too.
grrr i cant believe myself
paris kinda just came at bad timing for everything and it kinda puts a damper on the trip but hopefully ill get use to everything.
so far my trip has been rather eventful.
the first bar my friend and i went to had a chip n dales show in it and the nasty waiter hit on me. it was icky.
the second bar we went in had really tinted windows in it and we didnt think much of it but then when we got in there we got it. on the right was 4 boothes, all in red velvet and in each one sat a women about 40-60 some years old holding a cigeratte and staring at us pissed off and like we were nuts. on the left was the bar with a women behind it and an older guys sitting there talking to the bartender and looking at us funny. then the bartender said "this is a gentlemens bar, this bar isnt for you". aka it was a prostite bar. very icky. all the prostitues were old. ewww!! so needless to say we left.
um.. what else
the shopping here is insane. it is impossible to hit every store here cuz its is like shopping districts absolutly everywhere. its nuts and great.
ive bout a buncha stuff. ive already spent half my money and im only one week in.
a lot of people here speak english so thats cool. well broken english at least.
um...
i miss everybody so much and i dont know how im gunna make it another 3 weeks here without my people.
i might be going to beckas house in the country and staying with her from thursday til sunday. we're gunna go clubbing and party it up. so that should be fun and its nice to hang with people i know.
my friend kristie was here for a couple days and stayed with us. that was cool cuz i havent seen her in like a year. minus graduation of course.
im finally signed up for orientation at cmu *exhale*. so when i get home im goin ta that. hopefully all the classes arent gone. i had to schedule a special orientation because i wont be here for the normal ones. they're all in june.
um...
im a photography and journalism major for anyone that didnt know or is curious. might get a fine arts minor. im thinkin music or history minors to. not all of them of course but i havent really decided yet.
i was thinkin of taking buisness classes to maybe. i dont know
ive watched like half of the movies i brought with me already.
um...
ive seen most of the sights now. when kristie was here we saw all the big ones- eiffer tower, arc of triumph, the louvre, notre dame, and another one i cant spell or remember how to pronounce but its a church i got kicked out of for taking pictures. but i snuck back in later.
i miss my friends. i tried to see or at least talk to a lot of people before i left but a lot of people i couldnt get ahold of.
