Nevermore '08
Whee! I actually sold some of my jewelry this weekend.
I was at the Nevermore Film Fest (featuring gothic and horror films obviously) at carolina theatre and sold 187$ worth of jewelry. which is really REALLY awesome (as long as I don't then think about the 50$ fee for the table at the festival, the money to buy the supplies, the gas to drive back and forth, etc etc)
but still. people liked and bought my jewelry, and several asked for business cards (which i don't have, but I gave them all the url to my etsy page, and the website i'm building)
so very cool. I count it as a success.

This is a pretty cool choker, I wish I had a picture of me wearing it.
and awesome anklet that jingles when you move or dance
this one and the one below it are fucking awesome, but its hard to tell because of the black background, and because they look best when they're actually on someone's neck.
eventually I'll get pictures of me wearing all the cool stuff.
this is a really hot necklace. another one you need to see being worn. I'm almost sad someone bought it, because it was so damn cool. but I can make it again, so yeah.
next weekend anna and I are going to see STOMP! in charlotte, which will also be quite cool.
and so yes, I try to focus on those things, instead of my tendency to be paranoid and self conscious, and isolated and lonely.
