Joy!
Teehee. Yesterday I went out with some friends to the Red Boot Pub (an Irish pub near campus). Some friends would be just Petite and Chantal, but we met up there with an(other) Italian girl named Rosie, who was very sweet and some of her friends. One of them, Olivier, was way too drunk and bothering Petite at random times during the evening.
Later on Claudio (yes, Italian again) -who is, for the record, incredibly gorgeous and sweet and thus the secret crush of Chantal (it's adorable to watch her swoon over him while he's completely oblivious)- and his dorm buddy Thomas joined us as well.
Thomas is a German guy, about my age and actually pretty cute, come to think of it. It was great to practice my German a bit and actually laugh with the French and the Italians and even have some inside jokes going from time to time. Better still, I could speak any language I wanted and he'd not only understand, he'd be able to answer me even more fluently than I could speak it. The guy speaks fluent German (duh), French, English and Spanish. Couldn't help but be impressed.
I hope we'll meet again sometime. Seeing Chantal's infatuation with Claudio and the inseperability of the boys when it comes to clubbing, I have no doubt we will.
I'm meeting Petite and Chantal for lunch at one and then it's off to another course at three. After that, the girls and I are meeting up again to have dinner together and see a movie. Going to the cinema means we'll be home on time and I'll have no problem going to my course at 8AM the following morning. And I don't have to stay at home on a Friday, which is a definite plus. ^_^
For now though, I have another half hour to fill before actually heading out for lunch. And I'm starving damnit!
