"Gone to Premier for nipples and stomach tubes." -note on the bathroom mirror this morning
Okay, three major things have happened in the past week. I'll start with the one that makes my quote seem less dysfunctional.
WE HAVE THREE LITTLE GOAT BABIES!!!!!
Wøøt! They is teh cuteness. Two boys and a girl. One of the boys I named Bambi (I sort of get naming priveleges, since no one else wants to name them for fear of attatchment anymore) and the girl I named Muriel. They're soooooo cyoooooot. I will upload pictures as soon as I get a couple good ones.
Second important newslike thing: my mommy had her appendix out last Sunday. It was a little scary, but less so because I'd had it done before and knew it wasn't that serious. All sorts of weird medical stuff has been happening to all the females I know lately. My friend Mariam came to visit, and she was sick, and while she was here her grandmother fell and broke her hip, and once she'd left to go be with her grandmother, Mom got sick, and on the same day my aunt (who's recently had a miscarriage)'s grandmother died and my grandmother (Mom's mother) fell and hurt her wrist. Veeeeery strange. I can only assume I'm next, so I'm on my guard. Anyway, Mom's recovering just fine, and she got to come home from the hospital yesterday. Unfortunately, she had to do a whole lot of driving around (well, riding around while I drove, but still very tiring) because Dad's truck broke down while he was getting hay and I had to go rescue him, and I couldn't find him forever, and Mom insisted on accompanying me because she was afraid I'd get lost. (Go down Prairie Flower, and turn left on Orange Avenue. What's so frickin' complicated about that?)
The third exciting/important happening is that my parents are finally letting me drive places by myself. I've had my license for about a month (I could've had it a long time ago, but various bizarre obstacles kept me from it), but they still wouldn't consent to loose me on the roads alone for some time after that, no matter how little distance away, no matter how careful I was, no matter how clear the forecast. But at last, the fateful day came when they were too tired of toting me around to various obligations that they finally let me tote myself. So, happy happy.
I think I should offer a prize to the person that comments the most on my posts. A special shiny magical surprise.
