So I went to my Jeet Kune Do class tonight, a good teacher that I've worked with before. Great guy, not a prick, and most importantly doesn't push his students past what they're capable of.
About halfway through the class my vision starts to cloud up and I get a bit lightheaded. Then I start wobbling and I can't feel anything or walk right. So I sit down and eventually lay down and try and calm down. My heart is all twitchy and isn't firing right. Took me a half hour or more to get back to being able to participate in just the grapples and I'm STILL kinda twitchy.
Now I've had a heart murmur my whole life. A hole in the valve between my right ventricle and right atrium, but it's always been of the "Your heart makes a swishy noise" variety and not the "Don't do these following activities or you'll explode in a ball of flamey death" kind. But now I gotta go back to the doctor (and not the good one in the blue box, or even the one who bitches about all the green blooded, pointy eared vulcans) and get him to take another look at meh. I'm hoping at the worst it's just "You can't do these certain things or you'll go boom" because I've seen my mom have open heart surgery twice, and I don't want it, not one bit. Not even if the surgeon has a sonic screwdriver or a laser scalpel or Anduril (especially not that one, no big swords in the chest, please).
Probably just tell me to take it easy for awhile, though. But we'll see.
