How could you possibly know I was going to post this and here? I'm just not comfortable with the idea of posting it on FF.net. First of all, it's unfinished. Secondly, I'm not good with words, so I had to copy certain lines from other FFs to express correctly what I wanted to say and I'm afraid people will accuse me of plagiarism. Though 95% of the ideas I used were mine. Three, I can't wait to write chapter 13. I'm well aware that he's too much of a softie in case you were wondering. Who's fault is that... All those people writting horrible FFs with torture, rape, murder and painting him out as some sort of bloody cut-throat... They don't even give you a warning. I was so shocked and angry that I turned him into a softie. I'm well aware that he's a shade of grey. But to a higher degree than humans. Bloody hell... You can't judge a non-human with human standards. Hell, you can't even question their motives. It's so hard to maintain the balance between good and evil when it comes to him, how in the hell is he suppose to remain a shade of grey If I... Hell a part of me tells me that, yeah, he was a villain because she wanted him to be a villain, but in fact he is kind and in the movie, we only see Jareth from Sarah's point of view, we only see him the way she see him, the way she want him to be. But I'm well aware that it is far more complicated than that. And honnestly, I want that to be more complicated. I mean, It's too easy too pretend that he's completely good and that he was a villain because Sarah saw him that way. Nobody's perfect. No one's entirely good or entorely evil. Even the most evil person in the world did at least one good deed and even the most good person in the world did at least one bad deed. If we weren't shades of grey, if we were perfect, we wouldn't be interesting or different. Imagine how boring the world woulde be... If you were surrounded with perfectly good people who are perfect, would you see their qualities? Their strengths? Their good sides? No. Because you would be constantly surrounded with perfectly good people who are perfect and never screw up... It is because Jareth is a shade of grey that I can see his good sides and his qualities. It's a shame some people paint him out constantly as some sort of monster. And the novel doesn't help. That A.C.H Smith... I downloaded the novel and I've read it only once. I got rid of it and I hate it. The author describe Jareth as some sort of completely evil, unattractive character, who's only after Sarah for sex. There's nothing good at all in novel Jareth. And we all know Jareth is a fae not a disgusting goblin. And the novel can't be trusted. It was based on the movie, not the other way around. The author didn't understand Jareth at all and he's one of those person who just love to paint him out as some sort of monster. That author and his novel sickens me. I wanted to buy the novel, but now I'm so not interested. Good. I won't have to go through all the trouble of finding one because apparently it's hard to find now. So where was I? Oh yeah, shade of grey. I don't think the way he treats Hoggle is enough to call my character a shade of grey. Keeping the balance is awfully complicated. How can I make him act a little more evil without turning him into a complete monster? Questions? Comments? Suggestions? *Sigh of discouragement* Sometimes I wonder if it is a good idea for me to write FFs. Maybe I was just meant to read them... What are we exactly? A bunch of humans writting FFs about a non-human character and most of us judge with human standards.

I'm almost done with chapter 12. I will post it tomorrow. If you want to read a very good laby FF, I suggest "A change of heart", by Crystal dream. It's so moving...

I wonder if it is too dangerous to even think about trying... What kind of protection spell to use?
