That's incredible! Mister Winter is celebrated all over the world! For weeks! That's even better than having your own holiday! Christmas last for what? Two days?
*Singing* Alleluia, It's raining Winterfests. Alleluia, It's raining Winterfests.
I'm going to a festival, a Winterfest with two of my friends this week-end. I can't wait to see that huge snow castle, all those ice sculptures and the fireworks! I'm going to celebrate Jack Frost and his beautiful, wintery masterpieces. Of course, most of it is made by man hand (or machines), but he contributed, with all that snow, that's for sure. I was sad because we usually have more snow here, in Montreal, at this time of year. It rained yesterday and now, the few amounts of snow left is almost gone. Apparently every snowflake is different from the others, none of them identical to another. Same thing with the beautifully crafted icicles that shines under the sunlight. Not to mention the pine trees coated with snow. Jack is such an artist! He creates beauty and I love to watch it. No mortal can create such sceneries.
Apparently, Jack is not the only one who can have a revelation. For years and years I hated winter and I complained about the cold. Just last year (2007-2008) I was doing it. It all changed in december 2009. I've seen sparkling beauty and magnificent sceneries and winter is now my favorite season. If only I had stop complaining about the cold and posed to watch it all...
