Prudent or not, I've immersed myself this week in the comment sections of articles regarding the Supreme Court Hobby Lobby decision. I've dipped into comment sections of both sides of the issue and have come out feeling flayed. I know about confirmation bias and all that, but reading the viewpoint directly opposing my own makes me feel personally attacked, and attacked on behalf of all (yes, all) women. Does "the other side" feel similarly? I feel like I try to be super respectful when making my points, but I don't feel that respect is reciprocated. I realize that *media* has an audience to cultivate (satiate), but even *individuals* who disagree vehemently do so disrespectfully (IMO).

Anyway, I'm sickened. This decision *is* a blow for women (yes, all women), and it *is* hypocritical, and it *is* wrong. I can know this, and say this, without giving you all the links that prove my point (but I'll gladly engage with anyone who wants to). It's wrong, and I know it, and you know it.

It's outrageous to me that a facet of our population (white, male, conservative, religious) is intent on limiting access to something that improves lives and reduces poverty, because it would force them to confront the fact that sexuality is universal and accepted. Yes, even for women.
