T. Rex - Electric Warrior. Mellow and glammy, you might like it if you like early Bowie.

Speaking of Bowie:
The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
Aladdin Sane
Diamond Dogs
The Man Who Sold the World.
Hunky Dory. I like pretty much everything he's put out, but these are my essentials.

Pretty much every Smashing Pumpkins album.

Iggy Pop - Lust for Life

The Clash - Self Titled, and The Story of the Clash, Vol. 1

Oasis - (What's the Story) Morning Glory?

Poe - Hello

PJ Harvey - Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea

Elliott Smith - XO

Blondie - Self-titled

A lot of Bob Dylan. I couldn't even pick one.

Soundtracks:
Velvet Goldmine - Glam homage!
Hedwig and the Angry Inch - More glam homage!
Blackhawk Down - Mostly Hans Zimmer

Rachid Taha - Made in Medina. Algerian rock with a kind of electronic feel.

U2 - The Joshua Tree and War.

Rage Against the Machine - Evil Empire

The Chemical Brothers - Come With Us

The Eels - Breautiful Freak

Franz Ferdinand - Self titled

The Who - Who's Next, Tommy and Quadrophenia

The Velvet Underground - Peel Slowly and See

Soul Coughing - Ruby Vroom

Led Zeppelin - II and Physical Graffiti

N.E.R.D - In Search of...

And Dookie of course ;) Heh, I didn't even know I couldn't live wihout some of these. You really started something ;)
