“The animals are out!”
Screeched the telecom shout,
With a roar and a hiss
Rocks descended about
Miles from sight, in the woods full of light,
Soon a boy would encounter the animal flight
A stead first approached and said,
“Get on my back!
If you stay here you’re sure to be attacked!”
And off did they flee ‘til a snake bit his knee,
“Oh please spare my life!”
Was the scared young man’s plea
He ran into some sheep,
Only nonsense was bleat,
And the mass was consumed by a sharp set of teeth
Once the wolf had his fill,
Our young hero felt ill,
And he hid in some shrubs
On the side a hill
“I must not be caught!” was his singular thought
As he crept down the hill to reach shelter he sought
Two monkeys were fighting and he begged them to stop-
“The wolves might be coming, you’re sure to be caught!”
“Mind your own business!” they said-
“Or it’s you who’ll be dead!”
The boy moseyed on and found ducks in a pond,
He asked them for help but something was wrong.
They quacked and they quacked but said nothing to that,
And the boy soon felt like he was under attack.
He followed the road, found an elephant and birds,
Asked them for help and soon he was showed,
His house where he lived was right up the road!
He got to his door and his Mom opened up,
“What are you doing? It’s time to wake up!”
