perhaps I should give a little update
Hi guys
1. I got into (so far) UB, Suffolk, and Penn State law schools. Let's do some math:
Suffolk: $55,000 a year
Penn State: $45,000ish a year
UB: $13,000 a year
So I think we all know where I'm very seriously considering going.
Honestly, I'm liking Buffalo more, so it wouldn't be all that bad to live there for the next three years, then move somewhere else(hopefully Chicago or Boston?) when I'm done. Plus I get to spend time with my mom and Terry, which actually isn't too bad.
2. I have serious second degree/alomst third degree burns on my left hand, and it's been wrapped up for a week so far. It's pretty fun writing papers lol. I was at work at our coffee shop and I was filling a hot tea with water that is so hot you can't even hold just the bare cup while filling it let alone drink it for approximately 30 minutes until it cools down. My co-worker distracted me, I turned around, the cup moved, and the water just ran down my hand for about a second and a half. 4 hours in the ER and a lot of vicodin later I returned home. So now I'm just waiting for these burns to heal, and I go to the doctor every other day. Leave it to me to do something like this haha.
3. Ok so maybe I'm the only one experiencing this, but school is just not fun anymore. I had a lot of friends who graduated last year, I'm not friends with as many people in our class, and the weekends just seem off. I mean I still go out and I do have some fun, but it's just - different. Plus the dynamic between my friends is horrible, we've all been in bad moods and fights and stress about what's next, etc. I still love my roommate to death, I went to the women's basketball banquet yesterday after they won against American and she had a part in her speech about me and I just started crying, ugh. I'm going to miss some people so, so much, but I'm ready to go. I think.
4. I am coming home March 1-11 for spring break. Tony and I were originally going to take a road trip to Houston (?) and back but then we realized that would be 45+ hours of driving in a little over a week and we decided to think about going after graduation or something. I'm trying to convince him to come to Buffalo again, but he's resisting lol. I'm slightly excited about coming home because there's a boy I want to see :) Is anyone going to be around/want to hang out that week?
I hope you guys are doing well, I think of you a lot. For me, the closer I get to the end, the more I remember old times, especially senior year of high school for some reason. Good luck with everything in the next few months :)
