The cheer coach at a neighboring school district basically dropped dead at a game at the state tournament last week. She never married or had children of her own; her life was apparently her work and her kids at school. They had her funeral at their gym on Saturday.
A., one of the ladies that I eat lunch with every day, (I hesitate to call her a friend, 'cause I'm not always sure.) was amused by the fact that her funeral was at the gym and that all the flowers were purple and gold. I told her that I thought that was really kind of sweet, because that was truly her life, and it would have probably made her happy. She said, "Well, when you die, we'll have your funeral right here."
When I'm sure exactly if I'm mad about that, maybe I'll have a response.
