This is "M Butterfly" the movie, which apparently has nothing in common with "Madame Butterfly" the opera composed by Puccini. In the film, the plot is about a british man involved with a chinese woman who is in real life a man indisguise ( a spy I guess). In the end the truth is revealed after a long time of romantic relatioship. The photo is chinese actor John Lone incarnating the chinese lover of the british man (Jeremy Irons)
