I'm bored, just trying to write a paper for school, don't feel like it though, (it's analyzing the percieved public characteristics of Lewisite and Chemical Mustard agents versus field tested reality during the First World War). For the paper I read a book called "Dew of Death" which was a fascinating history on Lewisite. Even mentioned this dude who was behind its manufacture for the government at the time, he got his Bachelors from Harvard at 20! his Masters at 21 and his Doctorate, PhD in Chemistry from Harvard at 25! (my age, man I feel inadequate lol). At which time he taught Chemistry there as an Assistant Prof! Anyway that same year war broke out, he joined the Army as an officer and since he was seen as so incredible, he was put in charge of the Lewisite chemcial factory in Kentucky and essentially managed a complex of some 150 acres and had 300+ men under his command, again, at the age of 25.
Incredible stuff.
(Lewisite btw is a nasty chemical gas that burns, chokes, and blisters you to death within a few hours; named after Winifred Lewis, an army Colonel/scientist/poet/opera singer! - no really, he was).
I'm also trying to get some more game soundtracks and i'm just typing this cause i dont feel like doing much else, sigh, I wonder if anybody reads this stuff :D
