Random (+ SQUEEEE)
- Tonight a very cute boy asked for my number - and not just any boy, but an OSMOND. As in very closely related to Donny and Marie. *flailing* I don't remember the last time this happened. (The cute boy + phone number, not the OSMOND. That's completely new.)
- Also, I just go my sister The Beekeeper's Apprentice by Laurie King, How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie, and the soundtrack to Mamma Mia! by ABBA and the movie people for her birthday. Anything else I should toss in to make this mix even more random?
- I actually quite liked Journey to the Center of the Earth (in 3D). Kinda surprising, actually. Brendan Fraser may specialize in "big and dumb", but it does tend to read as "cute and funny", and you can't say that about everybody's "big and dumb".
- My red polyester Walmart dress may have magical powers - in addition to the Osmond politely brushing off the friend I was trying to introduce him to and getting my phone number instead (still not really truly real in my head yet), I was also chatted up in the dinner line by the Osmond brothers' guitarist. We bonded over fake Philly cheesesteaks. (Further proof - a few weeks ago I was hit on several times while walking around New York - but ONLY on the day I was wearing the red dress.) Traveling Pants, watch out - I feel a movie coming on!
- I am slightly ashamed of the fact that I'm more than a little excited for Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. I blame it on Greece.
- Phone number. Osmond boy. Urgh. I feel the urge to do Pilates - very odd.
