Do I seriously have to register for school?

Seriously?

I have this tendency to be really obnoxious.
I hope it's not pushing him away.
I forget about it sometimes.

At the high school or the college? I'll be tutoring this girl, Wendy, who I met a few weeks ago. Not that you'll need tutoring, but just, as a way to keep you from going nuts.

The high school. Dad preferred that I not skip grades...I'm gonna be a freshman.

Oh, darn. And here I was ready to talk you into taking physics with me at the community college so we could drive the professor up a wall...

Freshman, that's like a first year cadet, isn't it?

Well, I probably could but I probably understand physics at a different level. It wouldn't be fair.

Yeah...I guess it's like first year? First year of high school anyway.

Well, so do I, but I figure if they don't offer classes on car repair I should at least brush up on what I'm good at.

First year was awful for me. Maybe we should...have a last hurrah or something before classes start?

But wait. Wouldn't you have to register for the high school too? You're 17, right? So that'd make you like a Senior or something. Hey, if I have to do it then so do you!

(but yeah! A "hurrah" sounds like it could be fun!)

But I'm already registering for college! It shouldn't matter that I'm technically a senior. What does that even mean? And just because you have to do something doesn't mean you have to drag me down with you.

(I didn't really have anything in mind, specifically, why don't I leave the nature of the hurrah up to you?)

Yes it does! It totally does! You need social skills or something.

Who says? Councilor Troi said I was perfectly adjusted. You just don't want to do this alone do you?

Admit that and I won't have a problem.

Yeah. On a freaking ship in the middle of nowhere.

NO.
Maybe.

Maybe a little, okay?

Hey, the psychology requirements for those missions are really stringent. I'm actually surprised a lot of people passed. I mean, Barkley, really?

And as loong as I test out of science and math, I think I'll be alright.
